Haley Joel Osment starring in Home of the Giants

Haley Joel Osment is starring in the upcoming "Home of the Giants", which is scheduled for a release in 2006. The movie will be written/directed by Rusty Gorman and produced by William R. Greenblatt and Dan Schalk. Charles Grinds is executive producing the movie, which goes into production early next month in North Carolina. Sympics International, whose partners include Greenblatt, Grinds and Greg Harrison, is partly financing the picture.

"Home of the Giants" is set in an Indiana town that lives for basketball, the story follows a teenager (Haley Joel Osment) who idolizes one of the town's basketball stars. The teen and his best pal are befriended by the player, who ends up being anything but the hero they thought he was.
