Taylor Lautner to Play Spiderman? Meets with Producers

A few days ago ReelComix made some comments about Taylor Lautner being a prime choice to play Spiderman since it would open the film up to a brand new younger audience. It seems that their may be more to it then just one sites opinion. Today comes word from ScreenRant that apparently Taylor Lautner is in consideration to play the role.

IESB is reporting that Taylor Lautner has met with the producers of Spiderman to talk about potential donning the spidey suit. Now this is interesting when you consider that they already said they are not looking at a lead at this point as right now they are focused first on finding a director. What are your thoughts on Taylor Lautner playing Spidey?
