It's a game of symbol logic, chess-related codes, city map jigsaw puzzles, and video riddles, and it's running for 24 days from April 17 to May 19, the day the film opens in theaters worldwide.

A new puzzle will appear every day and will test your problem-solving skills. You can play in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia. The grand prize for the U.S. version is first-class vacations for the winner and up to three guests to New York, Paris, London, and Rome. But, the reward for putting your mind to the test doesn't end there, because you also receive the Sony Electronics Package from SonyStyle. Prizes also include a Bravia LCD TV, VAIO notebook computer, Cyber-shot digital camera, NAV-U portable satellite navigation system, home theater system, and more.

Individual puzzles were released starting Monday April 17th, the day Leonardo Da Vinci was born, 553 years ago. A new puzzle is posted every day at 1pm EST. Four-time World Puzzle Champion and Google software engineer, Wei-Hwa Huang, designed these complicated trials. "As a puzzle enthusiast myself, I wanted to bring a unique 'Da Vinci-esque theme' to some new twists on classic puzzles," said Wei-Hwa Huang. "Players of all ages will have fun tackling these brain teasers as they compete for the grand prize."

The puzzles aim to put you in the place of "Da Vinci" lead character Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) who is a professor of symbology at Harvard University. They get you to think strategically and make you unlock the clues to solve the puzzle through interactive riddles. The puzzles will come in six challenge categories: Symbol, Restoration, Curator, Chess, Observation, and Geography. This will give players a well-rounded experience of the themes from the film and the best-selling book by Dan Brown on which the movie is based. Participants will effectively learn what it’s like to be in a cryptographer’s shoes, following the mystery from clue to clue, puzzle piece to puzzle piece.

The first 10,000 eligible players who complete all 24 puzzles correctly by May 11th will be notified and become participants in the final round of the game. All that are chosen for this last stage of the challenge will receive a cryptex replica just like the one featured in the movie. These brain-buster finalists will be given a gauntlet of challenges based upon the same set of skills they had to hone in solving the initial 24 puzzles, and they will only be given 48 hours to do it successfully. The person who finishes this last part of the challenge in the least amount of time by Sunday, May 21st will win the Grand Prize.
