The Ukrainian agency UNIAN, citing reports from Russian propaganda media, announced on Thursday that Russia is threatening to suspend the operation of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. It is occupied by Russian forces, and recently the area adjacent to the facility has come under intense fire from the Russians.
During the press conference on Thursday, General Igor Kirillov, commander of the radiological, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Federation, spoke about the possible suspension of operation of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
