China's Zhurong rover reveals ancient weather and water traces on Martian rocks

Traces of China’s Zhurong rover captured from Mars orbit by NASA’s spacecraft

Zhurong is part of the mission Tianwen-1It is the first interplanetary project in China. The machine landed on the surface of Mars In May 2021. Now we have the opportunity to see how far it has traveled in a satellite image taken from orbit by a NASA probe.

The image below was taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on March 11 this year. The image was taken with the HiRISE (High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment) camera from about 288 km above the surface.
