Netflix has shown the trailer for “Quack”.  Leszek Lechuta as Professor Wilczur

Although it has been 40 years since the premiere of “The Quack” by Jerzy Hoffman, the film is still shown regularly on television today. And not surprising because ZnatchorWith Jerzy Bińczycki and Anna Dymna he entered the pages of Polish cinema.

On September 27, Netflix will premiere the remake of the movie. Production will be delivered to 190 countries around the world. Actor Leszek Lechuta will play the main role of Professor Raffai WilczurWho previously played in the series “Wataha” or “Agata’s Law”.

“I am from the generation that grew up on Professor Wilczur’s story. I am very happy that I can play such an important figure in Polish culture. Fashion films are always a challenge, but I think the director and the entire crew have captured the aesthetics of the 1920s and 1930s brilliantly. A world where honor, work ethic, empathy and romantic love matter. Leszek Leshota admitted.

“Quick” is on Netflix starting September 27

A new adaptation of the famous novel by Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz The film will be directed by Michal Gazda, who will be making his debut as a feature film director. Marcin Baczyński and Mariusz Kuczewski are responsible for the script. The film’s producer is Magdalena Szodkovic.
