Robert Eggers updates the classic

The long road to creating “Nosferatu”
But Depp wasn’t supposed to be the star of the movie. When Eggers first announced the horror film in 2015, he saw Anya Taylor-Joy, who he had already worked with, in the lead role. And when Taylor-Joy had a free schedule, the project fell apart (as did when Harry Styles, who was originally supposed to play Ellen’s husband), dropped out of the cast.
Eventually, Nicholas Hoult took over the role of Stiles. The cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
