The heads of the commission demand amounts of 100-150 thousand. rubles (approximately 1,000-1,500 US dollars) as a fee for bringing in the alleged corpses. According to KrymSOS, citing its sources, there have already been three or four cases in which the military has requested these payments. cThe bodies of the soldiers from the front have been brought to the morgue in Simferopol, but the heads of the committee are telling the families that they have not yet been returned.

“The Russian military commissariats are war criminals who have been illegally calling up and mobilizing the local population to join the Russian army since the beginning of the occupation of the peninsula” – confirms KrymSOS activists.

The organization estimated in October last year that even before the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine Russia implemented in the Crimea Illegal conscription, which included at least 34,000 Crimean residents.
