Cinema premieres I can't miss! I look forward to these films the most

The year 2024 promises to be a holiday for movie fans, full of long-awaited returns for iconic heroes and exciting new stories.

The first shows I'm most looking forward to include continuity of popular series and new and interesting concepts.

For me, one of the most important cinematic events of 2024 will be the premiere of Civil War. Also worth noting is the return of Deadpool and Wolverine in “Deadpool & Wolverine.”. Not only does this duo guarantee a heavy dose of humor and action, but they also guarantee fun with the lore – and are guaranteed to break the fourth wall. I wonder how the creators will combine these two different characters.

Return to the famous worlds

Mad Max fans are certainly thinking highly of Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga. Prequels are always a risky endeavor, but I'm sure George Miller, creator of the original series, won't disappoint. I would love to return to this crazy post-apocalyptic world and learn the story of Furiosa, one of the most iconic heroines in action cinema.

I'm also looking forward to returning to Beetlejuice in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (Beetlejuice 2). Tim Burton, the master of dark humour, returns to the iconic comedy from the 1980s, promising a dose of nostalgia and dark humour. I'm counting on the great return of Michael Keaton in the lead role and the quirky new characters and funny situations.

new Horizons

Joker: Folie à Deux

In addition to the continuation of popular series, 2024 will also bring new and interesting proposals. One of them is “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”. It promises to be an epic story about the struggle for survival and the emergence of a new order on a planet overrun by apes. The creators will develop a universe that I like, but I expect new threads in the already known story.

“Joker: Folie à Deux” also deserves attention. The sequel to one of the highest-grossing films raises high expectations. Joaquin Phoenix returns as the Joker, joined by none other than Lady Gaga. It promises to be a dark psychological tale of madness and obsession, which will certainly generate a lot of controversy.

I definitely won't miss other productions

Scapegoat

In addition to the titles mentioned above, my list of movies I want to watch also includes:

  • “Scapegoat”: A remake of the cult series from the 80s with Ryan Gosling in the lead role. I expect a real feast for the senses, full of stunning erotic scenes that will bring back the glory of a forgotten profession.
  • “big cities”: A new film from Francis Ford Coppola, with an all-star cast and an ambitious story. Not only do I expect amazing special effects, but I also expect a deep story about humanity in a new utopian world.
  • “Mickey 17”: A science fiction thriller starring Mark Ruffalo and Robert Pattinson, told from an unusual perspective. It promises to be a film that will transcend the boundaries of traditional cinema (a small exception, because the reward has been postponed to the beginning of 2025).

So, 2024 promises to be a very exciting year for movie fans. Genre diversity and a return to popular series are some of the reasons why I can't wait for the upcoming premieres. I am convinced that everyone will find something for themselves, and cinema will once again prove its existence The field of magical artwhich does not die yet – as the second part of Dune proved.
