Spider man Reboot Gets a Budget & 90210 Plot

Lord love a duck! Just when we thought the new reboot was going to bring us all kinds of badassness ( love that word ) we find out from Heat Vision that the new Spider man Reboot will be a mix of Twilight and 90210. Heat Vision writes;

"The touchstone for the new movie will not be the 1960s comics, which were the inspiration behind the movies by Raimi, who grew on up on them, but rather this past decade's "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley where the villain-fighting took a back seat to the high school angst."

This sounds Ultimate-Lame but I will admit that this is quite similar to Batman Begins which turned out fantastic. It has been indicated that Spider man will be a back to roots story with a darker angle and that is exactly what Batman Begins was. Batman Begins was as much about Bruce Wayne and his trials in his personal life as it was about him as the caped crusader. So as LAME as this sounds... it might all pan out in the wash.
