Christina Ricci (Monster) stars as a backpacking drifter traveling through the English countryside where she is struck by a car and befriended by the family who hit her.  Little does she know, she is embarking on a terrifying journey where evil prevails in THE GATHERING, debuting on DVD January 30, 2007 from Genius Products Inc. (OTCBB:GNPI) and The Weinstein Company.  
 
The film, honored with the Special Jury Prize at the 2003 Gérardmer Film Festival, also stars Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four), Stephen Dillane (The Hours), and Kerry Fox (Intervention). From director Brian Gilbert (Not Without My Daughter), THE GATHERING also garnered a nomination for the International Fantasy Film Award at the 2003 Fantasporto festival.
