Shane McMahon returned on Night 2 at WWE WrestleMania 39, but his return didn’t go as planned…
In fact, The Miz was in the ring with Snoop Dogg and vented his anger at him over his decision to prepare him for a pre-match against Pat McAfee on Night 1 of WM39. Snoop Dogg replied that he had found another enemy: Shane McMahon.

Unfortunately Shane took a few hits and injured his ankle or knee on his first jump. This forced the game to be changed at the last minute. Snook appeared in the ring out of the blue to deliver a punch to Dogg, Miz and the People Elbow to win the match. Meanwhile, Shane is kicked out of the ring and given a walking aid to exit backstage:

Fightful and WWEInsider confirmed that this was a real injury and that the match should not have gone down like this. On the other hand, the entire team of WWE officials unexpectedly congratulated Miz, Snoop Dogg and the referee backstage for their good management.
Triple H confirmed at a press conference after WrestleMania that Shane was suffering from a torn quadriceps. We will have to wait for the next news to know if Shane McMahon needs an operation and how long he will be out.
