The missile attack on Vinnytsia center is part of a systematic Russian campaign of attacks on urban neighborhoods. The American think-tank evaluates the Institute for War Research (ISW) in its latest report. There is an operational pause in Donbass before the attack on the Słowiask-Siwersk-Bakhmut line.
– Russia (Thursday – ed.) continued its campaign of systematic attacks on residential neighborhoods of Ukrainian cities, striking Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv – writes ISW.
Ukrainian authorities have so far confirmed that 23 people were killed in a missile attack on buildings in the center of the city of Vinnytsia in central Ukraine, and 39 people are missing. “It is possible that the Russians will soon launch a broader and more decisive offensive along the Slaviansk-Siwirsk-Bakhmut line, but there are no indications as to when the offensive will begin and where it will be focused” – ISW assessment.
