The Red Shirt was written by Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes, X-Men series). Details of the project remain secret for now, but it is known that the creators have the ambition to create a new franchise in the style of James Bond. Not only will Channing Tatum play the lead role. He will also act as a producer for his company Free Association.
