For all those of you who can't remember the name, Patricia Tallman played Barbara in Tom Savini's 1990 remake of the original George A. Romero movie "Night of the Living Dead". Now Patricia also works as a stuntdouble and has proofen her skills in movies like "Jurassic Park" and "Speed".
Our friend John from Dead-Central now had the chance to ask her a few questions about the experiences she had while filming Tom Savini's "Night of the living Dead".
Here are a few clips:
John: How did you get the role of Barbara? Were you picked like Bill Moseley, or did you have to audition for it ??

Patricia: I auditioned on tape. Marty Schiff ("Knightriders") directed a scene with me and a friend of mine. I was Tom Savini's choice, but he had to convince everyone else.
John: What went thru your mind when you realized you were going to be playing a role in the remake of one of the biggest cult horror movies of all time??
Patricia: There was no thought about it. I simply concentrated on the role. I didn't want Barbara to be cliche , or stupid, but a real woman.
You can read the whole interview in Dead-Central's NOTLD90 section here.
John also sent us what we can expect to see on his site in the near future:
I will be speaking with Tom Towles (Harry Cooper NOTDL90) Sunday afternoon, set the date just a few minutes ago, and I managed to contact Tom Savini for and interview regarding his involvement in all of Romeros films from Special FX, actor, to director. Not quite sure when that one will take place but he has agreed to it.
Finally, I will get the new interview with Gary Klar (Sgt. Steel) up on the DAY link sometime this weeke-end, once he and I wrap up our Q&A session we've had over the past week an 1/2, ( seems like when I talk with him we never get to the questions ..lol). In the mean-time check out the excerpt from Garys upcoming book on his Bio page, click the "inteviews" link on the DAY section of the site.
Lots cooking for you folks in the months to come, and I hope too have some pleasant surprises for ya !!
