The Tingler Movie Remake in the works

According to Hollwood Reporter William Castles The Tingler is being remade. Just what we need another remake. Hopefully this film will be as good as other remakes we have seen, prime example being the Dawn of the Dead remake by Universal.

The film is being made by Neil Moritz and Original Films. The Tingler is a 1959 movie where a creature feeds on the "fright" of its victims. Ini the upcoming remake by Neil it is said that it will now kill its victims with "terror" (good thing they changed that) and that it is discovered by a scientist looking for a medical cure for fear.

The movie is being written by Greg Pace and will be released by Columbia Pictures. Direct to DVD, or box office smash? To early to say, but keep reading MoviesOnline and we will bring you more as we hear it.
