Tim Burtons Alice In Wonderland Box Office Tops $68 Million

Originally published in 1865, Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” changed forever the course of children’s literature. Tim Burton just recently brought his own touch to the film and it hit theaters racking up over $68Million.

The film which was done in 3D is your typical burton with over the top visuals, unique characters and an interesting and dark story to boot. Alice in Wonderland 3D made a ton of money and that comes as no surprise when you consider that the 11am screenings were packed full where normally its a ghost town. It seems that 3D combined with great directors is the new wave for Hollywood success.
