Ye Old Times With Lindsay Lohan

Somehow I missed the original announcement of this Robert A. White film, Ye Old Times. It was officially announced awhile back that David Arquette, Matthew Lillard and Orlando Jones are attached to star opposite Justin Chatwin and Jack Black. The film will follow two rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit.

E! News is now reporting that Lindsay Lohan has been added to the cast. Now I use to defend Lohan against a lot of the haters. I never liked her but I did think that she was a competent actress. But recently even that has faded away and she has become nothing more than a living cartoon much like Paris Hilton.

The cast for this film had so much potential before Lindsay hopped on board. I don't know what they are thinking casting Lindsay with all of these great comedic actors. I guess we will have to see how this comes a long. Maybe Lindsay just needed to avoid the serious roles she was taking and stick to the comedies that she was good in. We will see.
