Sam Raimi Confirms Shadow Remake

Sam Raimi today confirmed that all the talk about him doing a Shadow Remake is indeed true. He told the Hollywood Reporter that its a project he has wanted to do for awhile. The strange part is that according to THR he will not be directing the film.
 
Sam Raimi is a talented director and is great at bringing quirky characters to life, so I question how well a Shadow remake will do without him helming it from the directors chair.  The Shadow has the power to cloud the minds of his foes and was originally  a Radio Show in the 1930's. The original film made in 1994 starred Alec Baldwin and quite frankly, sucked.
