DVD/Blu-Ray Release For Sinister

One if the finer horror movies I’ve had the chance to see so far in 2012 is Scott Derrickson’s SINISTER. There are a few aspects of the film I didn’t care for, but for the most part the film is an extremely moody supernatural flick with some extremely disturbing found footage moments. If you missed your chance to check it out in theaters than mark February 19, 2013 on your calendar for your chance to blind buy or rent the film when it hits DVD and Blu-Ray.

SINISTER follows a true crime writer, Ellison (Ethan Hawke), that moves into the house where a family was murdered and a child went missing and is the subject of his newest book. The cops don’t care for Ellison’s presence in their town and he has also just discovered a box of home movies that depict a series of murders that may be connected to what happened in the house they’ve moved in to. Here is what you can expect from the DVD/Blu-Ray

Special Features: Audio commentary with director Scott Derrickson Audio commentary with writers Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill “Living in a House of Death” featurette “True Crime Authors” featurette Deleted scenes with optional audio commentary with director Scott Derrickson
