Nominees Announced For 68th Annual Golden Globes

Today the Golden Globe nominees were announced for the 68th Annual ceremony. Many of them will come as no surprise to many of us, but I couldn’t help but groan and then feel embarrassed by the nominees in the Best Comedy / Musical category.

I’m sure you will see what I’m talking about when you look at the list below. I did not include the nominees for TV shows, since I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, so all I can say on that front is, go Dexter! I am pretty excited about the Best Picture and Best Director categories. By the time the Golden Globes air their will be only one of the films in the Best Picture category that I may not have had a chance to see, and I doubt it will be the one that wins anyway. Check below for the film nominees and feel free to leave your thoughs; and check out the HFPA website for the full list of film and TV nominations.

In regards to the Comedy/Musical Category, I haven’t seen all of the films, but I along with most of the population would assume THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT is going to win by a landslide considering the competition are films like ALICE IN WONDERLAND and BURLESQUE; all in all that entire category seems to be a wash this year, and shameful that there are several snubs that could have been featured in that category.
