Trump asked about the vice president. Two names were mentioned

The host asked Trump what criteria he would use to choose the vice president for his Cabinet. I also tried to get information about potential candidates. The former president stated that he would not announce who he intends to appoint “for some time,” but he revealed some secrecy.

Who is Trump's vice president?

The politician said the most important factor he takes into consideration when considering potential candidates is making sure his running mate will be able to assume the presidency in the event of an emergency.

-He should always be the person who will be a good boss. Of course, you should always think this way in emergency situations. Things happen, don't they? No matter who you are, things happen. “That should be number one,” Trump said. He added that he has many great collaborators and many good ideas in the party.

Tim Scott

When asked who could become a candidate, he replied that he talks to everyone. The journalist did not give up, and Trump pointed to two people. He pointed out that no decision has been taken yet.

“You know, I called Tim Scott and people like Tim Scott and said, 'You're a much better candidate for me than you are for yourself,'” Trump said. “When I saw him, he was fine. It was fine, but very faint,” he added.

Tim Scott is a senator from South Carolina who also ran in the primary. After withdrawing from the race to run for president, he supported Trump.

“I've watched him over the last week stand up for me and stand up for me and fight for me — I said, 'Man, you're a much better person for me than you are for yourself,'” Trump continued.

Kristi Noem

Trump also praised South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, recalling her public statement that she would never fight him “because she could never beat him.”

The Governor of South Dakota is considered one of the most conservative and effective state leaders in the United States of America. It regularly takes measures to reduce taxes and reduce bureaucracy. In addition, it banned the promotion of LGBT ideology in schools and so-called push changes. Noem also warned against corporate overexpansion in agriculture by buying up American land.

But Trump denied reports that his campaign team contacted Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – A Democrat announced last September that he would run for elections as an independent candidate.

US presidential elections

Trump won the primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire. He also has the support of many former candidates who tried their luck in the party's primaries.

On January 21, Ron DeSantis withdrew from the primary and gave his support to Donald Trump. Earlier, Vivek Ramaswamy did the same. In theory, Nikki Haley is still in the race, but her chances of beating Trump are slim.

Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in the United States this fall. The Democrats are likely to represent current President Joe Biden.
