Not only the entire Raków Częstochowa team, but all Ekstraklasa observers are waiting for Ivi Lopez. The attacking midfielder, one of the best players in the league, has been sidelined for several months due to injury. Now he returns to the field, and the next date for this event is announced through information regarding the Spaniard's registration in the competition.
Efe Lopes has been playing for Czestochowa since 2020. With this club he won the Polish Cup twice, and last year also the Polish Championship. In the 2021/22 season, he even became the top scorer in the Premier League. In total, he played for Jasna Gora 113 times in all competitions, scoring 49 goals and providing 30 assists.
However, during one of the friendly pre-season matches for the new season, he suffered a serious knee injury and did not enjoy the team’s success in participating in the group stage of the European League. Now he is back, and the fact that our league lacks quality players like the 29-year-old Spaniard can be proven by the fact that the league itself has reported that his name has been submitted for Ekstraklasa matches on their official social media profiles.

Raków Częstochowa is still fighting fiercely for the championship. The team currently ranks third in the league table, four points behind leaders Jagiellonia. However, there is an incredible crowd at the front. Suffice it to say that the Czestochowa team is only three points ahead of sixth-placed Pogo. In next Saturday's match, the current Polish champion will play against Roc Chorzów on his home field.
