The premiere of the long-awaited Disney film has been postponed. Poor creatures in 2024

We knew we’d have to wait a little longer for the movie at the end of July, when the world premiere of “Poor Creatures” was postponed to December 8. However, Disney’s Polish branch announced that the work will not reach our cinemas until January 19, 2024. It is not known why Disney decided to make such a move.

“This film is for her, in front of and behind the camera,” the director said.

The film is based on Alasdair Gray’s 1992 novel of the same name, and tells the story of Bella Baxter, who is brought back to life by a mad scientist (played by Willem Defoe), but given the brain of a young child. The woman escapes into the world with a “shady” lawyer (Mark Ruffalo).
