The media reveals secret telegrams from the American President

President Joe Biden’s administration has received a dire warning from US ambassadors to Arab countries that its strong support for Israel’s brutal military campaign in the Gaza Strip will cause Arab communities to hate the United States “for a generation,” according to diplomatic cables revealed by CNN. .

Warning to Biden

The messages expressed deep concern about the growing anger against the United States that erupted shortly after Israel launched operations against Hamas. Let us remember that the Israeli attack is a response to the group’s attack on Israel, which occurred on October 7 and resulted in the deaths of more than 1,400 Israelis.

“We are losing badly on the information battlefield,” we read in a cable sent by the US Embassy in Oman on Wednesday. Strong American support for Israel’s actions is seen, the cable warns, as incurring “material and moral guilt for what happened.” [Arabowie – przyp. red.] Consider war crimes.”

The embassy cable was written by the second-highest-ranking US official in Muscat and sent, among other things, to: the White House National Security Council, the CIA and the FBI. Another cable obtained by CNN from the US Embassy in Cairo to Washington quoted a comment in an Egyptian state-run newspaper that said, “President Biden’s cruelty and disregard for the Palestinians exceeded any cruelty and disregard of previous American presidents.”

Pressure on Washington

President Joe Biden is under increasing pressure at home and abroad over American support for Israel amid a severe humanitarian crisis in the region. US officials are working to increase aid reaching Gaza and are calling for a ceasefire to allow more aid to flow and allow civilians to escape the fighting.

In recent days, US allies in the Arab world have clearly expressed their deep anger over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Last weekend, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken attended a summit held by the Jordanian Foreign Minister and attended by senior diplomats from Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

At the summit, Arab leaders called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, while Blinken reiterated US opposition, arguing that it would give Hamas time to regroup and launch another attack on Israel.
