Microsoft is slowly preparing to limit the functionality of the Xbox 360 console. After July 29, 2024, players will not be able to purchase new titles and digital add-ons in the Xbox 360 Store and in the Xbox 360 Marketplace (marketplace.xbox.com). The option to activate games with purchased codes will also be disabled. The manufacturer confirms that the planned changes do not imply a loss of the ability to use the content. Users will continue to download and install their favorite products and start playing in multiplayer mode. It has been confirmed that the option to purchase backward compatible games will continue to be available across Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and the online store.
