Man canceled!  Netflix has already spent 30-60 million on it
This wasn’t what this week was supposed to look like for Mattel. The company is preparing for the potentially triumphant debut in cinemas of the comedy “Barbie” Meanwhile, it turns out that his other project has been thrown into the trash. Netflix has given up and quit the “Masters of the Universe” spin-off.

“Masters of the Universe”: a long way to go for a movie about the adventures of He-Man

behind “masters of the universe” Adam and Aron Ni (“The Lost City”) answered. The screenplay was written by Dave Callaham (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”). Kyle Allen (West Side Story) was supposed to play the main role.

This isn’t the show’s first cancellation. The movie was originally made for Sony. That’s when the Ni brothers were chosen to direct it (after McG left the project). Then the star was supposed to be Noah Centineo.

Sony ditched it in 2020 and that’s when Netflix took overwho previously set two telecoms in the world of Eternia “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” and “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”

Originally the photos were supposed to be for “masters of the universe” It will be filmed last summer. But this did not happen.

According to unconfirmed information, Netflix decided to cancel the project due to high costs. Apparently, 30 million has already been spent on its implementation, although various sources claim that in reality this amount is twice as much.

Mattel will now be looking for another studio willing to continue working on the film.
