Lech Poznań with an interesting transition within the Ekstraklasa? John van den Broome comments on the rumours

Lech Pozna beat Warta Pozna 2-0 at home, and immediately after the meeting John van den Broome was asked about the possible acquisition of Kajetan Szmyt. The Dutchman’s answer is clear.

On Saturday night, Lech Poznań faced Warta Poznań in a derby match. Two goals scored by Michal Skorach gave the team three points and an increasingly better position in the context of promotion to the European Cups.

Immediately after this meeting, a press conference was held with the participation of coach John van den Broome.

– Two days ago you said Warta is a good team and they showed it in the second half when they created some good chances. We also had our chances like the penalty kick that Mikael Isak scored. But he said he failed to use it, which was disappointing.

The Dutchman was also asked about Cajetan Smit, because Daud Schulcek spoke about him earlier. Is it really worth getting it?

“He’s definitely an intelligent and interesting player. Today he took risks, dribbled and wasn’t afraid to make mistakes. That’s what I love about footballers. Of course we’re looking for wingers but he’s not on our list at the moment.

Kajetan Szmyt has made a total of 26 appearances since the start of this season. He has a goal and four assists.
