Grażyna Błęcka-Kolska has witnessed many tragedies. She had to build a life again

Grażyna Błęcka-Kolska She became famous as Kasia Solska in the comedy “Kogel Mogel”. The 1988 film was an instant hit. Shortly after the premiere, the actress married her lover, director Jan Jacob Kolski. A year later, the couple welcomed their daughter Zuzanna.

Unfortunately, the marriage did not last. The actress forgave her husband a lot, including his betrayal. However, when she learned that he was having a child with another woman, she said enough was enough.

“I made no demands on my husband. I wanted everything to be good at any cost. When he told me again that he was in love, I got up and fell, got up again and fell again. My body couldn't stand it. Then I thought: “Either I will die or I will get divorced” – she admitted this in an interview with the magazine “Zwierciadło”, and they broke up in 2011.

In 2014, the actress suffered another blow. July 24, going to the New Horizons Festival in Wroclaw, pShe lost control of the car and crashed into a pole. Grażyna Błęcka-Kolska, her friend and her daughter Zuzanna were traveling in the car. The first two ladies got out of the car unharmed. Unfortunately, Zuzana, who was 23 years old, was taken to hospital in serious condition. Her life cannot be saved.

The actress, falling into despair, retreated into the shadows. She humbly accepted the sentence and took full blame for the incident on herself.

“There's no help. I'm in this tunnel all the time. There is no peace and there will never be peace. “There is a feeling of guilt, a terrible longing,” she told the mirror.

After this tragedy, the actress returned to her hometown. In Lusk, near Lodz, she renovated her ancestral home. Her daughter was buried in the local cemetery.

The actress cried several nights, underwent therapy and slowly began to open up to the world again. In the process, the business and foundation – Fabrica Snow, which she founded with her deceased daughter in mind, turned out to be extremely beneficial. The foundation raises money for scholarships for gifted youth.

Grażyna can be seen in the fifth part of the popular film series “Kogel Mogel”.

“I hope this is not the end of my career and I get to act in many more films. Because cinema and art have great healing power. “This is my passion and I am happy that I am practicing this profession,” Koleska said during the ceremony on the occasion of receiving the honorary title of Citizen of Lusk.
