I was in awe of his character, even though it was very subtle – I wanted that scene to be shot for selfish reasons because I actually love Dave. I think it does not fit into the overall vision. Maybe there wasn't room for it, or it caused problems with the pace of work? Such decisions are beyond my control. But yeah, I was a little disappointed that this scene didn't make the final cut.
