Casio has revived the watch legend. The price is shocking, there may be problems with the purchase

The year 1974 in Poland was, among other things, the premiere of Jerzy Hoffmann's film “The Flood” or the opening of the Arena entertainment hall in Poznań. Gerek ruled the country, and girls in schools were only allowed to wear trousers. The ultimate dream was jeans from Pewex.

During this time in Japan, Casio created its first watch called the Casiotron. Although the technology was invented only two years ago, The watch already has a quartz mechanism. It is also equipped with an LCD screen. In those times it was a real revolution.

The Casiotron QW02 ushered in the wave of quartz watches that completely dominated the market in the 1990s and early 2000s. However, for the 1970s, it was already quite advanced. For example, it was the world's first watch with an automatic calendar with a date display.

Now, 50 years after the premiere of the first Casio watch, the manufacturer has decided to pay tribute to the classic model. The Casio TRN-50 will be available for sale – An exact copy of the original, although of course there are some innovations.

Casio TRN-50 is water resistant to 50 meters. The screen on this model is made of mineral glass, and the back has a glass cover bearing the same triangular logo found on the back of the QW02. The watch also has solar charging.

The new model is entirely manufactured in Japan. Only 4,000 total will be available for sale. to cut. The Casio TRN-50 watch will be released on February 29th.

Pre-orders have been launched in some countries. In Japan, pre-sales ended quickly due to the huge popularity of the new model.
