In the materials he shared, school friends talk about table tennis and football training. The image of Mateusz Morawiecki that emerges from their stories is that of a young man passionate about history from an early age and even focused on the freedom of his homeland.
One of her friends, for example, recounts a conversation with Morawiecki when they were teenagers. She confessed to her friend that she dreamed of going into the water. Mateusz Morawiecki replied, leaving his friend in a daze: “And I dream of a free Poland.”
