Polish Armament Group.  The entire board of directors of PGZ was dismissed

The current board of directors of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa has been dismissed. Sebastian Chwalek resigned as president. Tomasz Siemiątkowski took over as acting president of the company.

Jacek Matuszak, representative of the Communications Department of PGZ, announced that on Tuesday, by decision of the Supervisory Board, the current Board of Directors of PGZ was dismissed.

– This means that Sebastian Czawalek has been dismissed from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Krzysztof Sula from the position of Vice-President, and Jakub Ruszkowski and Marcin Wierzczewski from the position of members of the Board of Directors – said Matuszak. Defense24 was the first to report on the dismissal of the PGZ board of directors.

Interim President of PGZ

As the company spokesman added, the Supervisory Board decided to temporarily assign the duties of Chairman of the Board of Directors of PGZ to Tomasz Siemiątkowski. He said that he would perform these tasks for a maximum period of three months.

Siemiątkowski is a member of the Supervisory Board of PGZ. The company's new supervisory board was appointed last week.

Thomas Szymitkowski is a lawyer and economist.

The spokesman also informed that in the near future the Supervisory Board will announce competitions for the positions of Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of PGZ.

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa is a capital group that brings together dozens of industrial plants, service facilities and research centers that are fundamental to the Polish defense industry.

These include, among others: the “Łucznik” arms factory located in Radom, the Stalowa Wola Steelworks, where Krab howitzers are produced, and the Bumar-Łabędy factory in Gliwice.

The main client of PGZ is the Ministry of National Defence.
