500 plus for seniors is the traditional name for supplemental benefit, which – like an old-age pension – is paid to the person entitled to it each month. Most importantly, not only people who are entitled to a pension, but also those who do not receive it, can count on additional funds. After the regulation change in 2022, the number of eligible people has increased significantly.

500 plus for seniors, any supplemental benefit for people who are unable to live independently, is a new support. The rules for its award changed in 2022.

In addition, you have Polish citizenship or have the right of residence or the right to permanent residence in Poland, if you are a citizen of one of the member states of the European Union or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – a party to an agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation, or
You have legal residence in Poland (if you are a non-EU or EFTA citizen).
