The O.C. Joins Texas Chainsaw Massacre

According to the Nancy Drew Crew at Horror-Movies.ca, Taylor Handley has joined the cast of the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre flick. Who is Taylor Handley you ask? Why he is from the O.C. my friend. I love when they cast teen drama people in horror flicks! No wait...

Jonathan Liebesman is going to direct "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2004) prequel that Platinum Dunes is producing for New Line Cinema. It will be titled "Texas Chainsaw Massacre : The Beginning" and Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing.

The story will go backward a couple of years, trying to answer questions about the character Leatherface. In this prequel, the filmmakers want to explain why Leatherface uses a chainsaw, and how his mask originated. There is not much known about the cast, but R. Lee Ermey will be reprising his role as Sheriff Hoyt and Andrew Bryniarski will again play Leatherface.
