Michael Bay Not Directing Prince of Persia

A long time ago it was repoted that Prince of Persia the Sands of Time would be directed by Michael Bay. Now from Variety comes word that Mike Newell ( Harry Potter / Love in the Time of Cholera ) is in talks to direct. Prince of Persia is  a long standing franchise that could translate well to a movie franchise. The First concept art for the brand new Prince of Persia movie in the works at Disney has gone online. Prince of Persia is one of those franchises in gaming that really could translate perfectly into a film franchise.
