Diary of the Dead - Shawn Roberts starring
Posted by: MacReadyAccording to Variety Shawn Roberts will star in George Romero's upcoming "Diary of the Dead" which is being filmed in Toronto. The actor already worked with the director for "Land of the Dead" in which he portrayed the character Mike. The movie is being produced by Romero-Grunwald Productions together with Artfire Films. Worldwide sales rights have been picked up by Voltage Pictures. So be prepared for the dead will walk again very soon.
The story will follow a group of college students shooting a horror movie in the woods who stumble upon a real zombie uprising. When the onslaught begins, they seize the moment as any good film students would, capturing the undead in a "cinema verite" style that causes more than the usual production headaches.
