3 More Potential Lois Lane’s

3 More Potential Lois LanesWhatsPlaying has more insights on who might be playing Lois Lane in the new Superman Man of Steel movie which I incorrectly referred to as a remake in an earlier article yesterday. Its not a remake rather a sequel to a remake. Whats Playing has some interesting news on 4 more actresses who are potentially reading to play Lois Lane. On their list of potetnails is Kristen Stewart which we told you about yesterday.

Also from my Wish List they have Malin Akerman but say its likely she wont get the role because of her age because Henry Cavill is considerably younger then she is. Here are the other potenttials they mention;

Dianna Agron – The Glee star has a real go-getter of an agent that’s getting his client in the door and on the floor of near every major movie in town. She read for Spider-Man, and is said to have also read for Superman. Bit young though, perhaps?

Jessica Biel – One of the leading contenders for the role. She’s got as much spunk as she has sexy appeal, don’t be surprised if the trade reveals that the Blade Trinity star has gotten the nod in a weeks time.

Rachel McAdams – Like Biel, I hear McAdams has quite a few fans over there at Warner Bros (Whom she did Sherlock Holmes with a year or so back). McAdams was also on the shortlist for Dark Knight Rises, so sounds like Chris Nolan – who, in addition to directing the Batman movie is producing the Superman movie – likes him a McAdams with special sauce.

I have no issues with any of these choices accept for Jessica Biel. That is a choice I do not understand. She may be drop dead gorgeous but she has yet to show me she can act. A-Team, Stealth, Blade Trinity all movies she looked great in and under delivered her performnace.

    What’s Playing is a credible entertainment news source? Biel, McAdams, and Stewart seem overrated and feel that the audience has already seen them as the superhero’s or at least hero’s love interest. I feel Ackerman too tall and Agron is too young. Mary Elizabeth Winstead would be an interesting choice but I still think they should highly consider Olivia Wilde or Mila Kunis for the role as the career obsessed journalist, Lois Lane. If they go B-list actress, maybe Kate Mara.
