– Tonight’s WWE SmackDown begins with a video about the match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul at the Blue Show Crown Jewel, followed by the SmackDown Intro and Pyros! The commentators welcome us and then the Usos come out for their tag team title defense. Then the new day enters and the match begins.
Undisputed Tag Team Championship – Tag Team Match
The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (C) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
At the end of the match, The Usos put Kofi Kingston in the corner, but the New Day member fought back and pushed them back into the ring. Kingston rushes in, but the Usos catch him with a 3D for the pinfall win.
Winners: The Usos – Still champions
– The Usos now have the longest tag team reign in WWE history.
– Backstage, the Usos join Roman Reigns in celebration. Reigns is proud of the Usos and says he has some things to deal with now that they did this. He wants Jimmy & Jey in the ring tonight!
– It’s time to start the World Cup! Participants: Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn, Butch and Santos Escobar. The first game starts now.
World Cup First Round – Singles
Shinsuke Nakamura- Japan vs. Santos Escobar (with Jelena Vega, Joaquin Wild & Cruz del Toro) – Mexico
Towards the end of the match, Santos Escobar executed a Super Phantom Driver on Shinsuke Nakamura from the top of the third rope, then followed up with the pin for the win.
Winners: Santos Escobar – Mexico
– A video was released for Veterans Day in the US.
– Behind the scenes, Megan Morant is with LA Knight. He complains about not participating in the World Cup. As he speaks, Bray Wyatt-related videos appear on the television behind him. Wyatt eventually reaches out to him and says he understands LA Knight’s anger and rage. People said his rage would turn him into a monster. For a very long time, he told himself not to be proud of what he had done, but he no longer knew how true that was. He knows what it takes to earn respect, and how far is LA Knight willing to go? The latter replies that it is none of his business and tells him to go and play with his toys. Bray Wyatt punches him and leaves.
The Six Pack Challenge
The winner will face Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Title
Liv Morgan vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Shadzi vs Sonya Deville vs Lacey Evans vs Xia Li
At the end of the match, Shadzi followed her Never Wake Up on Lacey Evans with the pinfall for the win.
Winner: Shadzi
– The commentators confirm that Ronda Rousey will defend her SmackDown Women’s belt against Shadzi at Survivor Series 2022.
– Behind the scenes, Shadzi is reveling in his success. Emma arrives and asks if she’s seen Madcap Moss, and Shadzie replies that she hasn’t. Emma leaves and Shayna Baszler comes in and she’s in the spotlight because Ronda Rousey is going to have the beating of her life. Shadzi says Ronda Rousey has never faced anyone like her. Baszler gets her to tell Ronda Rousey straight up who’s behind her… Emma looks back and Shayna Baszler gives her a submission hold.
– Behind the scenes, Kyla Braxton is with Ricochet against Mustafa Ali next week in the first round of the World Cup. He says he has a chance to face some of the best in the world but more importantly a chance to get his back and no one knows how good Ali is. The Imperium shows up and Gunther demands to know “what belongs to them”. Ricochet shows off the Intercontinental Title belt. Gunther tells him that he hopes to see him win because he loves beating him again.
– At ringside, Jinder Mahal is next to cut and says WWE’s greatest champion is back. He wins tonight and becomes the Intercontinental Champion. Braun Strowman’s music cuts it.
World Cup First Round – Singles
Braun Strowman- America vs. Jinder Mahal – India
At the end of the match, Braun Strowman defeated Jinder Mahal with a powerbomb by pinfall.
Winner: Braun Strowman
– Legota del Fantasma and Hit Row enter the match between Jelena Vega and B-Fab, but before the match, The Viking Raiders and Sarah Logan are coming to attack both teams!
– A video of the match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2022 was released.
– Next week: World Cup continues with Mustafa Ali vs Ricochet and Butch vs Sami Zayn / Shadzi vs Shayna Baszler
– Roman Reigns enters with The Usos, Solo Chikova and Paul Heyman. The Tribal leader Indianapolis asks to approve it. Paul Heyman takes the microphone and tells us about great sports matches, then the Usos and New Day aren’t great sports matches because the New Day can’t be compared to the Usos. Roman Reigns speaks out again and says it’s not easy being his cousin. Everyone recognized him. He doesn’t think he can do this… Roman Reigns wants to talk about the Usos, but Butch and Ridge Holland show up and say it’s fight night. Sheamus is back!
Sheamus has mic issues and Roman Reigns doesn’t care. The Brawling Brutes enter the ring and a brawl breaks out. Drew McIntyre also gets in the ring Help the fighting beasts! The show ends with a fight.
