Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and new owner of Twitter, called on voters to vote for Republican Party candidates in Tuesday’s US congressional elections. Forcing the two sides to share power would mitigate their “excesses,” he said.
“For independent voters…the separation of powers limits the worst abuses of both parties, so I recommend voting for the Republican Congress, as the presidency belongs to the Democrats,” the new owner of the site wrote on Twitter. He added that independent voters will decide the outcome of the elections.
