Ukrainian intelligence showed how its officers entered Russia

In the past, combat forces on the Ukrainian side carried out raids on border areas, including in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions, but these were the activities of Russian volunteer formations (Russian Freedom Corps and Russian Volunteer Corps). This time, the raid on the territory of the Belgorod region was to be carried out by Ukrainian military intelligence officers.

Ukrainian intelligence carried out an attack on a Russian platoon

“Due to the increasing number of acts of sabotage committed by the Russians (in the border areas – ed.) and in order to protect Ukrainian civilians who live in cities close to the state border and are exposed to attacks from the aggressor, soldiers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have taken… Special procedures.

The statement said that Ukrainian intelligence obtained information that the Russian army command was planning to inspect Russian positions in the Gravoronsk district of the Belgorod region of Russia due to “complaints and dissatisfaction of soldiers serving here due to poor service conditions.”

Ukrainian intelligence reported that before the “inspectors” arrived in Moscow, the Russians carried out “engineering work.”

Therefore, Ukrainian intelligence planned a special operation to inflict losses on the Russians and lower their morale.
