Since Adam Sandler took off the tag of “movie idiot”, productions with his participation are becoming more and more popular and gaining better and better reviews. The prime example might be “Uncut Diamonds,” but the actor's other roles have been much better received since his Netflix debut.

Don't have an idea for an evening show? Perhaps it is worth trusting the popularity rating and watching the film with the title: “Astronaut”. This production is currently ranked third among the most popular films in Poland on Netflix, and the trailer has a huge viewership of over 7,000,000 views!

Astronaut Jacob (Adam Sandler) embarks on a lone research mission to the edge of the solar system. Six months later, he realizes that when he returns to Earth, his marriage to Lenka (Carey Mulligan) may no longer exist. He wants to repair his relationship at any cost, and is helped by a mysterious creature hiding inside his ship that has been around since the dawn of time. Hanush (voiced by Paul Dano) and Jacob try to understand what went wrong before it's too late.

The film is directed by Johan Renck, based on the novel “The Czech Cosmonaut”, and stars, among others, Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin and Isabella Rossellini.
