The Russian woman went to the match in the jersey of Spartak Moscow, the leading Russian football team. This is a 22-time national champion and is the most successful team in history. However, this is not the first such behavior of Potapova.

Three weeks ago, during the WTA tournament in Dubai, she posted a photo on social media of herself wearing the same jersey. “I am happy to be back in Dubai. I have joined the ranks of the white and the red,” she wrote on Instagram, adding cheerful emoticons. White and red are the colors of Spartak Moscow.

The Russian woman was making fun of everyone with this gesture. Let’s add that Russian club teams and national teams are excluded from international competitions. They cannot participate in European cups and Euro 2024 qualifiers. The Russians were already eliminated from the play-offs for promotion to the World Cup last year. Their rivals were supposed to be Poles.

Journalist “Punto de Brique” Carlos Navarro is annoyed by the behavior of the Russian footballer. It is seen by many observers as a provocation. The respective images can be seen below.
