The American shortened the distance after the start of the third round, but Rębecki defended the opponent’s takedown attempt. After a few stand-up exchanges, Mateusz responded with a successful fetch. The Pole was again in the close guard of Nick, who, however, posed little threat from behind. Rębecki kept his opponent on the ground, regularly attacking with short blows. Sure enough, the pace of the fight slowed down, and both gentlemen were already tired. The situation did not change until the end of this clash. Rębecki won on all scorecards, and successfully made his debut in the UFC.
