The franchisee began looking for a contractor for the extension The third lane is on parts of the A2 motorway between the Poznań Krzyceni and Poznań Vskod intersections. In addition, the company wants to commission the renovation of the surface at the Poznań Luboń and Poznań Wschód intersections, along with accompanying works.
Before drivers have an easier time, they will suffer from traffic jams. This was the case when additional lanes were constructed, for example in the Poznań Zakhod – Poznań Krzesice section, which was put into use in 2019.

Difficulties on the A2 motorway
According to the order, the works will be carried out on an active road. Traffic regulation will be determined only with selected contractors. Usually, one road is closed and cars traveling in both directions are moved to the other.

The bypass route of the Poznań highway is 25 km long. Drivers do not have to pay to use this concession section.
