Polish volleyball players will play against the Italians in the last match of the Olympic qualifiers.
The Polish volleyball team is competing to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris. The 3-1 win in the match against the USA preserved the chance of winning an Olympic passport. This will be decided by the last match of the qualifying tournament in Lodz. When do Polish women play? When is the match against Italy? After six matches of the tournament held at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Polish volleyball players recorded 5 wins and 1 defeat. Coach Stefano Lavarini’s players started the competition by beating Slovenia 3-0. In the following matches, they defeated South Korea 3-1 and Colombia 3-0. Then came the unexpected 1-3 defeat to Thailand. However, in the following matches, the Poles returned to winning ways, defeating the German national team with a score of 3-2 and the USA with a score of 3-1.

In previous matches in Lodz, the Italians beat South Korea 3-0, Slovenia 3-0, Thailand 3-1, and Colombia 3-0. Their first defeat was against the United States, where they lost 1:3. In the penultimate round, they beat the German team 3-0.
Eight teams play in the qualifying tournament in Lodz. The top two teams will advance. The ranking in the table is determined by: number of matches won, then points, set percentage, small points percentage and direct match score.
The Poland-Italy match will be broadcast on Sunday, September 24 at 8:20 pm on Polsat Sport and Polsat Box Go. Pre-game studio starts at 7:30 p.m.
