“Chef Olivia, who is tricked into the countryside to save her grandmother's farm, falls in love with a handsome farmer who is hiding a secret” – this is the description of the new romantic comedy of Netflix, which will debut at the end of March. The star cast will include, among others: Anna Szymanczyk and Mateusz Janicki.
Their screen partners will be Artur Barciś, Anna Seniuk, Filip Gurłacz, Cezary Żak, Magdalena Smalara and Paulina Holtz.
Anna Szymanczyk was born on June 20, 1987 in Olsztyn. She graduated from the Theater Academy in Warsaw. She began her acting career by performing on stage, and was admired by audiences, among others: during performances at the Sixth Floor Theatre, the Stowe Theater and the Dramatic Theater in Warsaw.
Until now, viewers could only watch Szymańczyk on the small screen. In the years 2011-2015, she played the role of Daga in the series “First Love.” Then she appeared in productions such as: “Na Wspólnej”, “Don’t Worry About Me” and “Szadź”. Last year, she starred as Zośka in the remake of “Quack,” which quickly became a hit on Netflix. This role turned out to be a milestone in her career and led to her receiving several offers recently.
Mateusz Janicki made his debut in the play “The Master and Margarita” on the stage of the National Stary Theater. Helena Modrzejewska in Krakow. For years, it was associated with other theaters in Krakow – Ludowy, Łaźnia Nowa, and (since 2011) the Nowy Theater in Łódź.
He began his adventure in TV series with Polsat's film “First Love”, where he played the role of Paweł Krzyżanowski, Marysia's partner. Over the years, he has put together many popular and popular television productions. Play in “A Time of Honor”, the Masurian epic “Nad Roslawescu”, “Straight to the Heart”, “Ways of Freedom”, “The Century of the Comet”, “The Recipe”. We can see him on the big screen, among others: in “Sztos 2”, “Wałęsa. Man of Hope”, “Chemistry”, “Afterimage”, “Planet of Singles” Or the movie that recently appeared on Netflix called “Mr. Car and the Templars.”
“Nothing by Force” will premiere on Netflix on March 27.
