Norfolk police did not respond to an emergency call from the house where four people died, according to a British portal. The call was supposed to be made an hour before the 45-year-old Pole, his daughters and a 36-year-old woman were found.

A man had earlier called the emergency number from the house where the bodies of four people were found. The police did not answer the call – Quoted from the Sky News TV website.

The man called around at 6 am. Just before 7 A concerned neighbor called services. After this call, officers arrived at the scene, entered the home and found the bodies.

An independent police watchdog will investigate whether they followed current protocols.

Police: We do not conduct searches

According to Sky News, the house where the tragedy occurred was cordoned off throughout Saturday, and a forensic team was working at the site. Investigators, in turn, conducted an investigation by speaking with neighbors and reviewing surveillance camera footage.

The identity of the deceased woman has not been confirmed.
