Our delegate has already given us a ninth medal at this year’s championship. Poland has two gold, four silver and three bronze rings to its credit. The medal was won by Wojciech Nowicki (hammer throw) and Aleksandra Lisowska (marathon).
Silver medals have been won so far by: Natalia Kashmarek (400m dash), Ewa Roccheska (hammer throw), Adriana Suchic (seven teams) and Katarzyna Zdzibau (walking), and bronze medals by Anna Kubaska (400m dash) and team Our (marathon) runners.
This is currently seventh in the medal table. Germany is ahead with a huge advantage.
