The 4th Beast: Mask of the Antichrist Gets a Distributor

Inspired by the Steve Wohlberg¹s endtimes exposé ³End Time Delusions² Master¹s film revolves around Daniel (played by local actor John Ross) an Ex-Army Ranger returning home from the Middle East only to get caught up in a mystery involving, assassins, an anxious journalist and a mysterious CD containing secrets about the Bible¹s prophecies about The Endtimes.

³This is very cool. I really wanted to have a film that people would see not something that would sit on a shelf.²  Says Masters ³A few  companies were interested in it right off the bat but only York put a decent deal on the table while everyone else was twiddling their thumbs. In the end no one wanted to match York¹s deal.²

Masters is in pre-production for his HK styled actioner ³Silvergun Samurai² as well as tending to his associate producer duties on Xenophobia Film¹s Chicago based dance movie ³Open your Heart²; but the action director is now seriously thinking about scripting a ³supernatural action thriller² as a prequel. ³I didn¹t want to plan around the movie too much until I knew how viable it was. Upcoming sales on the final product will also aid in determining whether a prequel will be made and how much money to spend on it.²

Masters is certainly becoming known as filmmaker who can put a project together quickly in a low cost manner and still come out with a viable project but he still seeks higher budgets. ³I simply want to get out of no-budget territory and into making projects with at least a thirty thousand or more budget. I wouldn¹t want to start on a project for less than twenty-five. I mean I¹ve proven it can be done for less than a grand, but I don¹t know if that means it should be done.²  Masters is currently working in Chicago as a freelance videographer, action choreographer and print designer. Masters hopes to continue shooting digital and says he¹s hoping to test out Canon¹s new XL2 next time.
